During my tenure at Tube Art Group, we received a special project: designing a holding tank for Redhook Brewlab's new Capitol Hill location. Inspired by the location and aiming for an Instagram-worthy concept, I was delighted when the brewery chose my design for the final product. Collaborating closely, we fine-tuned the design, and in 2016, the concept became a reality, proudly standing in front of the Brewlab today.
Since 2018, I've had the privilege of contributing to the success of MN Custom Homes, a distinguished property developer on the Eastside. Initially referred by a colleague, I serve as the Lead Designer, working closely with the VP of Marketing to execute comprehensive brand strategies. My role involves overseeing marketing campaign execution, brand development, page layouts, magazine ads, production design, and digital ads. I am committed to consistently upholding a distinctive aesthetic that aligns seamlessly with the luxury positioning of MN Custom Homes in the coveted enclaves of the Eastside.
In 2017, during our trip to Zion National Park, the idea of Retro Robbie began taking shape as we planned our adventure. I wanted to introduce a character that could share and interact with the environment as we traveled. This became a delightful outlet, combining our love for photography with clever captions for social media. What started as a fun side project evolved into a full-fledged character. Today, you can find Robbie wandering the hills, exploring the Pacific Northwest, or featured on stickers, pins, and other exciting creations we've developed. Follow @retrorobbie on Instagram for more adventures!

A company’s brand reflects who they are and how they appear to customers, partners, shareholders, and employees. A brand is the promise and expectation that people have for a company. Good branding builds companies, while ineffective branding undermines success. At Otis Owl Creative, we leverage over a decade of combined experience to help clients build brands that matter.

At Tube Art Group (TAG), a premier sign fabrication firm in Bellevue, I served as an Environmental Graphic Designer for five years. My focus encompassed interior wayfinding signage, architectural design, electric signs, and more. While primarily contributing to the custom design department, I engaged in special projects and supported interior wayfinding and national accounts such as Starbucks, WA Fed, and Homestreet Bank. My role demanded meeting stringent deadlines, collaborating with sales teams and project managers, and innovating practical fabrication methods for quality products. Additionally, I played a key role in various marketing deliverables, including bid documentation, sales materials, social media assets, and print materials.

We were approach by Chuckanut Health Foundation to develop brand assets for their annual stroke awareness campaign. The package included logo design, layout, print collateral and bus graphics, which are shared throughout the Bellingham/Whatcom County community. I also worked closely with a collective of Western Washington University students to provide digital assets for the launch of a promotion video created for the campaign launch. Together, we helped the foundation reach their goal to foster a healthy community where we can all thrive.
We engage in a range of design projects to meet our personal and professional goals. From our winter distilling projects to custom metal signage, our branded wedding suite and even a cornhole board, we’ve really done it all.
The Screeching Glitter Llama project began when Amanda signed up for her first Tumblr account. As she puts it, “I stared at the cursor blinking in the text box, trying to decide on just the right name. Each time I began to type some half-baked idea into the field, I'd end up back just where I'd started…Nothing felt right.” And so, she decided to leave it up to the Tumblr gods. Those gods brought her Screeching Glitter Llama. Since its inception in June 2017, Screeching Glitter Llama has become an outlet to share experimental internet poetry, from gif projects and still images to video experiments and stop motion animation.
