Acrylic Pouring
What makes this process incredibly enjoyable is the element of surprise and uniqueness in every pour. Each creation is distinct and unpredictable, offering a delightful journey of discovery. Acrylic pouring has become a meditative process for me, allowing for less control over the final outcome while granting more control over the pouring technique and color selection. It's a creative adventure where every pour brings forth its own beauty and charm, making each piece a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
Cornhole Board Set
During the pandemic I worked on was enhancing a cornhole board set with several unique features. A built-in section to hold beverages, score tracking, all aimed to enhance game experience. What made this project particularly enjoyable was the creative process of transforming scrap materials into functional and aesthetically pleasing components. Collaborating closely with a production team member, I coordinated the routing, sanding, and staining processes to ensure a seamless and polished final product. It was a rewarding experience to blend practical functionality with innovative design, adding a touch of creativity to a classic game setup.
Retro Robbie
In 2017, during our trip to Zion National Park, the idea of Retro Robbie began taking shape as we planned our adventure. I wanted to introduce a character that could share and interact with the environment as we traveled. This became a delightful outlet, combining our love for photography with clever captions for social media. What started as a fun side project evolved into a full-fledged character. Today, you can find Robbie wandering the hills, exploring the Pacific Northwest, or featured on stickers, pins, and other exciting creations we've developed.
